Our Community Promise

Welcome to the OMTS Community.

Old Men Talking Shit was founded on a simple idea:

People are happier when they laugh together, share stories, support local businesses, enjoy great music, and build lasting friendships.

These Community Guidelines help us create a welcoming place for everyone.

1. Our Values

We encourage every member, visitor, guest, and business partner to help create a community built on:

• Respect
• Kindness
• Humor
• Inclusion
• Honest conversation
• Community involvement
• Supporting one another

2. Be Respectful

Treat everyone with dignity and respect.

We welcome different experiences and viewpoints, but personal attacks are never acceptable.

3. No Harassment

Harassment of any kind is prohibited, including:

• Bullying
• Threats
• Intimidation
• Hate speech
• Discrimination
• Personal attacks
• Stalking
• Doxxing

4. No Illegal Activity

Do not use OMTS to promote or engage in:

• Fraud
• Illegal sales
• Copyright infringement
• Pirated content
• Identity theft
• Criminal activity

5. Political Discussions

OMTS was created as a place where people can take a break from political arguments.

While current events may occasionally arise during conversations, our community is not intended to be a political debate forum.

Posts or comments whose primary purpose is political campaigning, partisan arguments, or inflammatory political content may be removed.

6. Family-Friendly Environment

Although our brand uses humor and occasional adult language, we expect members to avoid posting:

• Pornography
• Graphic violence
• Obscene material
• Excessively offensive content

7. Respect Copyright

Only post content you own or have permission to share.

This includes:

• Photos
• Videos
• Music
• Artwork
• Articles
• Logos

8. Business Promotions

We love supporting local businesses.

However:

• No spam.
• No repeated advertisements.
• Promotional posts should provide value to the community.

Businesses participating through official OMTS partnerships may receive additional promotional opportunities.

9. Music Submissions

Bands and musicians are encouraged to submit:

• Upcoming shows
• Videos
• Photos
• Promotional materials

By submitting content, you confirm you have permission to share it.

10. Guest Stories

Members are encouraged to share:

• Funny stories
• Memories
• Photos
• Recipes
• Community events
• Travel experiences
• Classic car photos
• Music memories

We reserve the right to edit submissions for length, clarity, or appropriateness.

11. Moderation

OMTS may:

• Edit content
• Remove content
• Suspend accounts
• Restrict participation
• Remove businesses
• Remove partner offers

when necessary to protect the community.

12. Reporting Problems
